Our friends at Swannay visited from Orkney to brew a barleywine. Somehow, that was thirty months ago. THIRTY. Three-Zero. A lot has changed in the brewery and the world in that time, but throughout it all this beer has sat maturing in a combination of rum and Heaven Hill Bourbon barrels, developing a supreme smoothness, nuanced malt complexity and peerless barrel character. Timeless, specific and utterly decadent.
